She is a licensed teacher and has worked in public education for nearly twenty years. Currently, she provides professional development workshops throughout the United States for educators, students and their families on the impact of Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACES) on student and family engagement and on learner cognition. She loves introducing communities of color to mindful practices, meditation, yoga and sound healing therapy.
