Publisher Description:

Feminine Divinity is a collection of poems in three parts. The first part is Feminine Divinity, which gives the collection its title. It contains five poems inspired by Gnosticism and Gnostics writings, e.g. Dead Sea Scrolls and Nag Hammadi documents. Some of these writings manifested themselves in recent popular books such as Da Vinci Code, Jesus and The Goddess, and The Holy Grail Holy Blood.

Feminine Divinity explores similarities between ancient and contemporary beliefs related to the Female element of human beings. Virginity, sexuality, relations, knowledge, and sense of centre seem to be shared by many belief systems from Greek and Egyptian mythologies to present days India's religions.

Feminine Divinity second part is a collection of love poems. It provides a complementary relief to the feminine theme of the collection. It covers topics from early love, to breaking up and getting back together. My favorite, Hearts Freckled Wrapping while Standing, won Editor's Choice Award by The International Library of Poetry (1997).

Feminine Divinity third part, which contains the largest number of poems, covers a wider range of topics some still on the theological theme, e.g. God in-Between, while others more observatory, e.g. Few Stories from the Street of Life.
