Publisher Description:

The Amazing Max and the Young Inventor is the first in what I hope will be a series of childrens full colour story books about Max and Marc (the Young Inventor) containing positive and inspirational support to all children. A perfect story for readers young and old sharing the important message that it's okay to be different, and that everyone can find their "special" place in this world as long as they have Love and the support of family and friends.

In this first story book we follow disabled Max on his journey to acceptance, along the way we meet his adoptive family Bill and Kate, the Young Inventor Marc, wise old Seymour the Australian Blue-Tongue lizard, and elderly cat Bugzy who all help to shape an amazingly wonderful and rewarding future for a "special needs" little kitty.

It is very important for children to receive lots of positive loving messages particularly in this day and age where they are so often bombarded with so much negativity. This beautiful story book is filled with hope to inspire the young reader to develop a caring compassionate nature, and to enjoy and develop a love of animals.

Contributor Bio(s): Nelson, Caroline: - This is Caroline Nelson's first children's book. Caroline has spent her career motivating business owners to achieve the best possible success for themselves and their employees. She is a renowned coach and mentor to the aesthetic and spa industry, and the recipient of the "Hall of Fame" Australian Beauty Industry Award. The author of numerous aesthetic industry business text books and contributor to Australian and international beauty trade journals for the past 20 years, her writing expertise was always directed to factual business text. She recently turned her hand to writing positive "feel good" books for children to encourage them to care and love animals in a positive empathic manner. After losing her much loved grandson Marc Stubbs in a tragic car accident she decided to write the first in series of children's story books to honour Marc's memory. The Amazing Max and the Young Inventor series will be inspiring tales woven around Marc's love of animals, his compassion, and love of science. All the characters in the books including disabled kitty Max are based on family pets and people who have had a positive impact on her and her community. Caroline is currently writing the second book which will have Max and Marc and the crew scooting around tropical Bali.
