Publisher Description:

Stripey--a diaper bag--arrives at her new home with the family's new baby. As night falls, and the family has gone to sleep, she begins to feel lonely, but quickly learns she is not alone. Stripey discovers that all of the bags the family owns visit together every night. Her first night in the house, adventure is afoot as the other bags hatch an idea to play a trick on their human family, who they feel may be taking them for granted. Peppy, the family's pet, helps with the plan and switches the contents of each bag. The next day, the bags head out with their family members to enjoy the antics. But as the bags see what unfolds during the day, and compare notes with each other later that evening, they find their plan caused a lot of trouble, indeed. With help from Peppy, Stripey and the bags work together to fix the problems they caused. Through their adventure together, they realize they come in many different shapes and sizes, each with its own unique value and important purpose, just like the members of their human family. They joyfully come to appreciate that they are a family, too
