All around the classroom, the other girls bring dolls in looking like them. Chyna thinks about this and decides that because of her skin tone and features that she no longer fits in anywhere. When Chyna goes home, none of her dolls look just like her no matter how many African American or Chinese dolls she has. After seeing a commercial on television, Chyna comes up with the perfect solution, which is to get a custom made doll to look just like her. Even with all the Chinese and African American dolls, ironically Chyna's favorite doll has always been Luna, the Alien that she plans on replacing once her look alike doll comes. "Will Chyna ever find that perfect doll?" or, "Will Chyna realize in the end that there are more important things than what you look like?" If so, "What things are more important?"
