Contributor Bio(s): Mark, Daniel: - Daniel Mark (aka DREE'EAM) was born in Detroit, Michigan to a loving and progressive, 'motor city' family. The race riots in Detroit severely shook his young life. Looking for truth and meaning, he embraced Judaism, Christianity and Islam. He identifies as a mystic uniting multiple faiths into one. His experience living and working in the Middle East gives him a unique perspective that qualifies him as an interfaith mediator and diplomat. His fascination with Wholistic health has also shaped his theories about "Responsible Peace and Security." DREE'EAM is the founder and director of "Peaceful Interfaith Creations" a non-profit dedicated to building creative bridges of interfaith understanding while breaking down walls of prejudice. He is also a hospice volunteer and the single father of two boys. DREE'EAM is fascinated by the natural cycles of time, current events and prophecy. Many years in Israel and Hawaii (along with many months in the lands of Ishmael, Guam and Peru) deepened his understanding about five subjects which were once considered taboos: death, finances, politics, religion and sexuality. DREE'EAM was a certified physical trainer with the American College of Sports Medicine. He was also the founder and director of another non-profit called, "The Mt of Strength" which was dedicated to the transformation of an abandoned army base (a place of war) into a creative, sustainable, health center (a Place of Peace) on a mountain in western Jerusalem. He worked on a Ph.D in Public Health at Hebrew University / Hadassah Ein Kerem and at Loma Linda University's School of Public Health. He has an M.A. in Communication, specializing in interactive education, and holds a B.Ed in math & computer science. While at the University of Hawaii, he worked with dolphins and micro-mollusks. He was also a Cruise Leader for the Blue-water Marine Lab, on an 86-foot sailboat, commissioned by William Randolph Hearst.
