Publisher Description:

Moonlight Magic is a whimsical bedtime story (written in verse) with an inspiring and hopeful message for kids ages three to six. It is time for bed and Willy Waters, the main character, wants to stay awake and play with the stars that he sees from his bedroom window. He reaches up high and realizes he can't reach the stars. His mom comes upstairs to tuck him into bed and the next thing he knows, he's reaching up to touch a star and it actually winks, smiles, and comes to his window. The star's name is Stella and she takes Willy up into the night time sky where he meets other star-friends, dances with a star-orchestra, and has a conversation with the moon. Stella eventually takes him home and he wakes up in his own bed to the smiling face of the sun. This book is written in verse, making it a great story for early readers. The illustrations are hand-drawn in crayon and colored pencil. The moral of the story is 'reach for the stars' and your dreams may come true.
