His recent publications include The Methuen Drama Book of Naturalist Plays (2010); his book on The Seventies, for 'Methuen's Decades of Modern British Playwrighting' series, is forthcoming in 2012. He has published widely on British theatre culture since 1968 and documentary/Tribunal theatre.Ibsen, Henrik: - Norwegian playwright Henrik Ibsen was born in 1828. His plays include Peer Gynt (1867), A Doll's House (1879), Ghosts (1881), An Enemy of the People (1882), Hedda Gabler (1890), and The Master Builder (1892). He died in 1906.Meyer, Michael: - Michael Meyer first went to China in 1995 with the Peace Corps. The winner of a Lowell Thomas Award for travel writing, Meyer has also won a Whiting Writers' Award for nonfiction and a Guggenheim Fellowship. His stories have appeared in the New York Times, Time, Smithsonian, Sports Illustrated, Slate, the Financial Times, the Los Angeles Times, and the Chicago Tribune.
