Contributor Bio(s): Shilling, Donovan a.: - Donovan A. Shilling is also the author of Rochester's Lakeside Resorts and Amusement Parks. For a quarter of a century, he has taught local history at the Rochester Museum and Science Center and has shared his knowledge leading numerous tours. A member of the Rochester Historical Society and the Landmark Society, he serves as historian for the Rochester chapter of the National Railway Historical Society. He has created Rochester's Downtown to help preserve the memories of some of the city's most magical days.
