Contributor Bio(s): Hildebrandt, Rachel: - Rachel Hildebrandt is a student at Chestnut Hill College with special interests in architecture and history. She collaborated with the Old York Road Historical Society, which was founded in 1936 to study and perpetuate the history of the communities along and adjacent to Old York Road. She has culled many of these vintage photographs from the society s collection of over 160,000 images.
