She has taught fourth- and fifth-grade catechism classes and served as president of her parish's religious-education staff. A member of the Secular Order of Discalced Carmelites, she lives in Hoffman Estates, Illinois. Luan Roche, ama de casa, esposa, madre de dos hijos y abuela de dos nietos, se ha desempeñado como maestra de educación primaria.
