Contributor Bio(s): Jay, Tony: - Tony Jay was born in London. A former Royal Shakespeare Company actor, he is a veteran of stage, television, film, and radio. His voice is recognized internationally for his work as Judge Frollo in Disney's The Hunchback of Notre Dame and in innumerable narrations for the History Channel and A&E. Dean, Robertson: -Robertson Dean has played leading roles on and off Broadway and at dozens of regional theaters throughout the country. He has a BA from Tufts University and an MFA from Yale. His audiobook narration has garnered numerous AudioFile Earphones Awards. He now lives in Los Angeles, where he works in film and television in addition to narrating. Raver, Lorna: -Lorna Raver, named one of AudioFile magazine's Best Voices of the Year, has received numerous Audie nominations and AudioFile Earphones Awards. An experienced stage actress, she has also guest-starred on many top television series and starred in director Sam Raimi's film Drag Me to Hell. Among her many Blackstone titles are The Age of Innocence, Up from Orchard Street, The Lodger, Selected Readings from the Portable Dorothy Parker, and Diamond Ruby. Otis, James: -James Otis Kaler (1848--1912) was an American journalist and author of children's literature. He used the pen name James Otis. Rasovsky, Yuri: -Yuri Rasovsky (1944-2012) was the leading writer, producer, and director of audio drama in the United States. Also a distinguished actor, narrator, and critic, his numerous honors include two Peabody Awards, eight Audie Awards, and a Grammy. de Lancie, John: -John de Lancie is an actor, narrator, and author. His written works include the novel and comic book edition of Star Trek: The Next Generation. In addition to narrating the Deadly Bugs documentary for the Discovery Channel, he cofounded the audiobook series Alien Voices with Leonard Nimoy. Carr, Jane: -Jane Carr is an English actress whose career has spanned over forty years. She has appeared in many stage productions, including Broadway's The Life and Adventures of Nicholas Nickleby and several classic plays with the Royal Shakespeare Company. She earned an American audience with her roles on television's Dear John and Curb Your Enthusiasm, and as the voice of Mama Cosma in the animated series The Fairly OddParents.
