The book has eight chapters in three main sections. Section one provides a Christian and Muslim rationale for engaging with the Other. Section two outlines stories of those involved in interfaith work in a series of contexts: academic research, intercultural, pastoral care, youth work, and peace work. The concluding section details recommendations and resources for best practice. Contributor Bio(s): Heaney, Robert S.: - Robert S. Heaney is a Priest Scholar who is Assistant Professor of Christian Mission and Director of the Center for Anglican Communion Studies, Virginia Theological Seminary. He holds a PhD in philosophical theology and a DPhil (Oxon) in post-colonial theology.Sayilgan, Zeyneb: - Zeyneb Sayilgan is Fellow for Peace and Reconciliation in the Center for Anglican Communion Studies, Virginia Theological Seminary, and currently doing in doctoral research at Georgetown University on the intersection of Islamic theology and immigration. With BA/MA degrees in Islamic Studies and Law from the Johannes Gutenberg University of Mainz, Germany, and an MA in Islamic Studies and Christian-Muslim relations from Hartford Seminary, Zeyneb writes frequently on Islam and Muslim immigrants in Europe. Haymes, Claire: - Claire Haymes is Program Coordinator in the Center for Anglican Communion Studies, Virginia Theological Seminary.
