Contributor Bio(s): Keeney, William: -

William E. Keeney earned an undergraduate degree from Bluffton (Ohio) College and a master's degree and PhD at Hartford Theological Seminary. His doctoral dissertation was published as The Development of Dutch Anabaptist Thought and Practice from 1539 to 1564. He served as academic dean at Bethel College, North Newton, Kansas and was executive director of the Consortium on Peace Research, Education, and Development. He taught peace and conflict at Kent State University until his retirement in 1990.

Beachy, Alvin: -

Alvin J. Beachy was a native of Salisbury, Pennsylvania where lived as a member of the Amish community. He continued his elementary school education at Messiah Academy, Bluffton (Ohio) College, and earned his Th.D. at Harvard University Divinity School in 1961. From 1960 to 1968 he pastored at Zion Mennonite Church at Souderton, Pennsylvania.

Alvin taught at Bluffton College and later at Eastern Mennonite College, Harrisonburg, Virginia and Bethel College, North Newton, Kansas. He is author of Worship as Celebration of Covenant and Incarnation and his revised doctoral dissertation The Concept of Grace in the Radical Reformation. Beachy died in 1986 at the age of 72.

Dyck, Cornelius: -

Cornelius J. Dyck received his PhD degree from the University of Chicago and has served as visiting fellow at other centers and universities in North America and Europe. In addition to teaching at the Associated Mennonite Biblical Seminaries from 1959, Dyck was for two decades director of the Institute of Mennonite Studies. He is the author and editor of numerous books and articles in professional journals.
