Publisher Description:
This classic battle of wits, dramatically and charmingly illustrated by the award-winning Paul Galdone, is the perfect edition to any folk tale storybook collection.

Three little pigs set out to seek their fortune. Each pig builds himself a house: one of straw, one of sticks, and one of bricks. When a hungry wolf huffs, and puffs, and blows in the houses of two little pigs, the third pig realizes that he might need more than a sturdy house of bricks to keep the wolf away!

"A very appealing edition of a beloved story."--School Library Journal
