Discovered in 1930, this Uygur translation dates back to the late 1100s, and as such provides a remarkable source for Uygur and Chinese historical linguistics. This work presents the 9th and 10th chapters of this translation in four forms: the transliteration and transcription of the Uygur text, the Chinese text of the original biography, facsimiles of the original Uygur folios, and Kahar's English translation.
