She has written history books, a kids' book about the mountain pine beetle, and co-authored a hiking guidebook. She is the author of the Willa Award-winning The Last of the Wild West Cowgirls: A True Story.Tillotson, Lee: - Lee Tillotson is an avid outdoorswoman, and she and her husband were Student Conservation Association supervisors in several different National Parks, including Rocky Mountain National Park. She is a retired physical education teacher who also has taught cross-country skiing and led numerous historical hikes and snowshoe tours.
