Contributor Bio(s): King, Judy Kay: - Judy King received an MA in English from Oakland University in 1990, and as a mother, she has nurtured three children into adulthood. Her career in adult college instruction spans over 20 years. She has also presented stories to children using poetry, puppets, dance, and Greek Mythology. For example, using poetry and dance, she has enacted stories to Montessori preschool and kindergarten children. Using puppets, she has conducted classroom presentations and workshops for elementary school children. Introducing Greek Mythology to gifted 5th and 6th graders, she has presented 6-week summer workshops sponsored by North Central Michigan College, Petoskey, where she has also facilitated writing, mythology and other courses for adult education. |
