Publisher Description: "Creating Art from Theology: Leader's Guide" is a small-group study book designed for leaders who are excited about seeing their culture impacted by God-glorifying artwork. The study is composed of 3 units: "God the Father," "God the Son," and "God the Spirit." Each unit contains 2 lessons. Each stand-alone lesson explores a theological concept related to a person of the Trinity and is designed to move artists - amateur to professional - through the creative process from conceptual formation to critique to public display of their artwork. Artists can move through 1 lesson in about 3 weeks to produce 1 piece of art or through the entire course in about 18 weeks to produce 6 artworks. The Leader's Guide provides small-group leaders with an abundance of instructional materials to choose from. The curriculum fully supports leaders as they guide artists to explore the breath and depth of theological concepts while moving artists through the creative process. Training in the arts is NOT required to teach this course. "Creating Art from Theology: Artist's Guide" is also available. |
