Publisher Description:

Former Mormon Tracy Tennant offers a practical and instructive guide on how to avoid the six most common mistakes made by disaffected members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Insensitivity, tactlessness, and anger--among other communication errors--often result in ex-Mormons alienating themselves from LDS family and friends. This book offers sound advice from a Christian perspective on healing damaged relationships and how to overcome the sense of loss and purposelessness that hinders former Mormons from moving ahead with hope and renewed faith.

Contributor Bio(s): Tennant, Tracy: - Tracy Tennant came to faith in the Biblical Jesus after discovering The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is not what it claims to be. As a devout Mormon for 26 years, Tracy held many leadership and teaching positions within the Church before resigning while serving as Relief Society president. She shares her experiences of raising a large family in the LDS faith and her transition into Biblical Christianity with empathy, insight, and respect. Tracy has a B.A. in Communication Studies, an AGS degree, and a certificate in practical nursing. She currently writes and speaks on issues relating to Mormonism and Christianity, family, and adult ADHD.
