Swift, Simple, Sweet

This cookbook is part of a series designed to make life simpler. The recipes are fast, economical, tasty and mostly healthy. Even the cakes are a healthier version of the all time favourites.

There is a section on cooking for food intolerances, and another on encouraging fussy children to have something great to eat. There are substitutions, and generalised recipes so that you can adjust to your family's preferences.

It is designed for those who either because they are time poor, or disinterested, or do not want to spend long in the kitchen. Most recipes can be frozen and then later served hot in just a few minutes. Save power, time and money, but most of all effort.

There are short cuts, forward planning, and last minute savers and presentation ideas so that just because you did not take all day to prepare it no one will care.

Contributor Bio(s): Scott, W. J.: - I wrote this book at the request of a few friends who asked how I made such lovely food so quickly so that my time was spent with them rather than the kitchen. I am not a trained cook or chef. I have however been cooking with various levels of success for over 45 years. I did get lots of guidance from the ladies in the C.W.A. when I lived in the country. So far nobody has died from eating my food, and some even like it. All my recipes are the lowest fat, salt and sugar variations. If you want more, add more. I rarely add salt to cooking, it is added at the table if others want it. All instructions will be the quickest way to get good results, standard cook books will choose the way to get perhaps perfect results, that may or may not happen, but will involve more mixing bowls, more time and usually more expensive ingredients. So far one son has trained as a chef, (I must have done something right) yes he uses every bowl and pot in the kitchen and gets brilliant results, and uses the most expensive ingredients. I do not waste time or money, I am not willing to work that hard are you? Not when I have a business to run and grandchildren to play with. This book is written by me to help all who are time poor make good healthy food, more quickly and more economically than going out to get a take away. It is part of my series to Make Life Simpler . I believe that food and its preparation and consumption should be enjoyable rather than an arduous chore. I am always on the look out for more fun ways to prepare and enjoy food. I just love eating.
