Contributor Bio(s): Hayden, Devin: - Born July 25, 2005 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Devin Hayden is a young author and real life version of Devin from The Cookie-Flower Rock Kids book series created in her likeness along with her twin sister, Kyla, and little brother, Kris-Alex. Devin is a natural lover of art and music. In her spare time, she throughly enjoys reading, playing chess, playing her musical instruments, and learning Chinese! At the age of 7, Devin began writing her own books for fun; one of the many was called Devin's Dress, her first book published as author with her mom, Dionna L. Hayden, by her side as illustrator. When Devin gets older, she looks forward to working as a human service professional to help others achieve goals to live their best life.Hayden, Dionna L.: - Author and illustrator Dionna L. Hayden was born July 29, 1982 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Dionna's artistic ability and love for children's books were developed at a very young age. By age 6, she knew she wanted to be an illustrator, and went on to study the arts to do so.
