Contributor Bio(s): Dent, Ali: - Ali grew up as a southern girl from Georgia. Secretly, all of her life she wanted to write books to help others. As a young woman she got her B.A. degree in Communications/Journalism at Berry College, started a family and left her writing dreams behind, or tried to. She committed herself to raising her four children all the while imagining stories and essays she might write one day. Her last child graduated in 2015. Since her teaching duties have end, Ali is realizing her dream of helping others with her inspirational books starting with the Behold Christ Adult Coloring Book series. On a personal level, Ali dreams of owning a home large enough for her children and grandchildren to visit all at the same time for holiday celebrations and get-togethers. She imagines this home close enough to the city to have fun and near enough to the country for the kids to roam freely. She loves waking up in the mountains of North Carolina in the fall, smelling coffee brewing and the river rushing outside. All year long she looks forward to going to the gulf beaches in the summer with old time friends, will forever enjoy the taste of a cup of good Earl Grey tea, creamy desserts and can't imagine a day when a story idea doesn't emerge in her heart. Ali longs to live at peace with who God says he is and who he says that she is as his child. |
