Publisher Description:
This course is about a war. This war broke out following Adam and Eve's spiritual fall. They made the wrong choice. Disobedience came, and the light of God's glory went out The light of His Glory was legally snuffed out by the darkness of sin, which encircled Adam, Eve, and the whole garden where they had lived in peace. This war was not on an open battlefield. Literally, inside God's creation, the battles started and continue to this day, on an inside-the-head battlefield. So it started and continues; a spiritual battle that ALWAYS starts in the mind-doubt, questions, uncertainty...resulting in fear (which is Satan's counterfeit of God's force of faith). The goal during this course is to become grounded in what God's Word teaches about this war, and to walk in victory through every battle encountered. Be STRONG IN THE LORD he says to the believer. We are commanded to be strong because every believer is involved in intense spiritual warfare, every day, in every area of life. We are prepared to do battle against all enemies of the kingdom of God. Every piece of spiritual armor will be discussed and proven vital for the spiritual fight ahead. Chapters on The Combatants of the War, Where Is the War Fought, and each of seven pieces of God's armor comprise a twelve week study course for individual and group study. Two chapters will consider The Enemy's Weapons used by him to win in spiritual battle. Questions to lead in discussion are included for guidance. The course is appropriate for small group leaders and participants, teachers and pastors. I also would suggest the studies be utilized in colleges and universities as a reference to the topic being considered.
