Publisher Description:

General Pat Wilson has been chosen to command a desperate mission.

In this alternate timeline, the Soviet Union has nearly conquered the United States. A technology has been developed to send a modern American Army unit back in time to a critical battle of World War II. If Wilson's task force can change outcome there, the Russians will not have the resources to conquer the United States. They have enough men and materiel for one decisive battle. One chance to save America.

But secret agendas, divisions, and death run through the task force. Can this mission truly alter the course of history? And, if they succeed, will they survive those who seek to hunt them down?

The author, John D. Thomas, is a graduate of West Point. He was a former Captain in Armor. He also served at the US Air Defense Artillery School and attended the Officers' Field Artillery Advanced Course. He was an Airborne Ranger.

He enjoys alternative history books and is a student of history. He has made many trips to Ukraine where much of the story takes place.

He writes characters and stories that show real soldiers in real situations, not the typical stereotypes we often read or watch on TV.
