Since its release, nearly 300 copies have been sold with 100 percent of the proceeds benefiting the nonprofit that helped with the cat family rescue he wrote about. Saving Stripes is told from the point of view of the kitten Justin ended up adopting. In addition to writing, he enjoys drawing, spending time with friends and family, and playing on his computer.
