Publisher Description:

When Ellen Zanderfrog finds an old trumpet, she just know it's a sign. "I'm going to Memphis to be in a blues band "
She travels down the river and meets other musical characters along the way. Bighearted E.Z. gives away her trumpet, and is given some tuna can bongos in return. Further down the river she gives away the drums and is given an invitation to a talent show on Beale Street in Memphis.

But when E.Z. finally arrives, ready to sing the blues, she discovers the talent show was last year. Brokenhearted, she heads for the door. Just then she hears a familiar song. "Is that the Froggy Bottom Blues?" she asks.

Ellen Zanderfrog is elated when she finds out her musical friends have all traveled to Memphis to join her blues band.
