Contributor Bio(s): Behn, Aphra: - Aphra Behn was a British playwright, poet, translator and fiction writer from the Restoration era. As one of the first English women to earn her living by her writing, she broke cultural barriers and served as a literary role model for later generations of women authors Wille, Clare: -Clare Wille has been working as an actress and voice-over artist since graduating from the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in 1997. Her recent theater work includes Seeing Without Lightand Look Back in Anger. She has starred in a number of television series, such as Swinging, Broken News, and Girls in Love, and has made appearances in Vital Signs, Life Begins, All About Me, Where the Heart Is, and Doctors. Most recently, she played Pru in Housewife 49 and DS Rachel Dawson in Heartbeat. |
