This is a story about a young girl, who was very little and often was running to a restroom for unknown reasons. Later she finds out she has a disease called ulcerative colitis. Not really knowing much about this so called disease, she tried to live her life as if nothing was wrong with her. She was in and out of hospitals for many years and still insisted she was going to live a happy normal life. One day a new doctor came into her life and he was about to make everything come to a stop. Everything she had been thinking was being closed off by the words she was hearing from him.

One morning she was laying in a hospital bed reading a book and her parents and doctor came in her room and sat down, looking at her with smiles on their faces. She was about to hear something she would never have thought in her young life. As words passed through the surgeon's mouth, she couldn't believe what she was hearing. She was going to have a major surgery, and it would change her life forever. So many things were going through her mind, first and foremost was how she was going to live? What would it be like and how would she have to dress to hide this surgical procedure? This was too much, especially for a young teenager to be hearing, it would change her life forever in everything she did.

Pushing it out of her mind and going on with her life was the only thing she could do. It was hard walking around acting like everything was perfect when everything inside of you was screaming, this is not real. There has to be something else that was better for her.

It turned out to be Jesus, Yes it was Jesus who got her through the most difficult times in her young life and still today he is still here right by her side guiding and directing her in every step of her life.
