When the Arab slave trade and Atlantic slave trade began, many local slave systems changed and began supplying captives for slave markets outside of Africa. The Arab slave trade was the practice of slavery in the Arab World, mainly Western Asia, North Africa, East Africa and certain parts of Europe. This book studies history of slave trade in Africa, Middle East, and across the Atlantic Ocean including debt bondage, unfree labor, maafa, and slave ship.
