In addition, he is Professor of Health Care Management, Professor of Management and was named James Joo-Jin Kim Professor in 1999. He is Director of the Wharton Center for Health Management & Economics, and Co-Director of the Roy & Diana Vagelos Program in Life Sciences and Management. Dr. Burns earned his Ph.D. in Sociology and M.B.A. in Health Administration from the University of Chicago.Weiner, Bryan: - Bryan Weiner, Ph.D., is a Professor in the Departments of Global Health and Health Services at the University of Washington. In addition to directing the Implementation Science Program in the Department of Global Health, Dr. Weiner conducts research on innovations and evidence-based practices in health care organizations, such as quality improvement, care management, patient safety, clinical information systems, and disease treatment. Publishing more than 150 papers, and authoring or contributing to many books and articles, Dr. Weiner is also a member of AcademyHealth, the Academy of Management, the American Public Health Association, and the Society for Behavioral Medicine. He earned a B.A. in Psychology, an M.A. in Organizational Psychology and a Ph.D. in Organizational Psychology.Bradley, Elizabeth: - Elizabeth H. Bradley, Ph.D., is President of Vassar College, and formerly the Brady-Johnson Professor of Grand Strategy and Faculty Director of the Yale Global Health Leadership Institute at Yale University. Known for her work strengthening large-scale health systems, her efforts helped firms in the U.S., China, Ethiopia, Liberia, Rwanda, and the U.K. Dr. Bradley has nearly 325 peer-reviewed papers to her name, and co-authored three books, including "The American Healthcare Paradox: Why Spending More Is Getting Us Less." Elected to the National Academy of Medicine in 2017, she earned her bachelor's degree from Harvard, an M.B.A from the University of Chicago and a Ph.D. from Yale University.
