Inspired by the collage-like quality of Peale's original notes and drawings, this exquisite keepsake box contains 32 flat cards, 16 envelopes, and cotton twine; tie two cards together to create 16 two-layer cards. Peale's manuscript is now housed in Rare Book Collection of the American Museum of Natural History's Library.
