Publisher Description:
Sal Williams life turned toward the dark side after his parents were gunned down when Sal was an infant. From that point he was raised by his father's parents in Junction, Texas and visited his mother's parents each year that lived in Acuna, Mexico. In Acuna Sal learned about the seedy side of life, guns, drinking, gambling, women, death and how to kill. As a teenager he seen two of his friends killed and he killed two of the men that did it. The haunting of those killings drove to become the Junction town drunk well before he was twenty.

It was during one of these drunken stupors that his grandparents were murdered by a thief. Sal now owned his grandparents General Store and took the new responsibilities very serious. After several years of proving he was a good and sober man Sal shocked the town and sold the store. When he returned to Junction he wore the badge of a Texas Ranger and his life as a lawman began.

During several years as a Ranger Sal will deal with cattle rustlers, horse thieves, bank robbers and killers. He will meet the love of his life only to have those plans dashed when Sal is shot and she is brutally murdered.

From that point Sal's world dissolves back into the liquor bottle. Sal's life is redeemed when he is offered the opportunity to hunt down the men that killed his love but when that job is done, will he remain a Ranger?
