Scott has authored four other books. The first was an educator's view of 30 years in public schools. It is called Snapshots: Chronicles of an Educator (www.outskirtspress.com/scottalexander). The second was a children's adventure story called, My Dog Named Whatever (www.outskirtspress.com/whatever). The third is a compilation of his songwriting abilities entitled, Take Me To the Rock. His fourth work is about a small, three-year-old abandoned boy adopted by a retired educator complete with laughs and real life drama entitled, TJ, the Wonder Kid.

Scott Alexander is an educator who has seen the inside of public schools and classrooms for 32 years. He has spent 19 years as a four-year-old ESL Teacher, a five-year-old Kindergarten Teacher, a First Grade Teacher, a Middle School Technology Manager, and an Adult Literacy Teacher. He has been an Administrator in Elementary, Intermediate, and Junior High for eight years. He was a Director of Adult Education. It is a labor of love. His 32 years of serving children in Texas, South Carolina, and North Carolina Public Schools have given him a wonderful sense of children, young and old, in the world of learning.

He has a BA Degree from Catawba College, Salisbury, North Carolina, in Early Childhood Education. He has a Masters Degree from Winthrop University, Rock Hill, South Carolina, in Elementary Administration. He has postgraduate hours in Curriculum and Technology from the College of Charleston, Francis Marion University, and Charleston Southern University, all in South Carolina. He is a Teaching Associate in the Spadoni College of Education at Coastal Carolina University in Conway, South Carolina. He teaches Literacy and Language Acquisition to undergraduates.
