Contributor Bio(s): Grass, Gunter: - Gunter Grass (1927-2015) was born in Danzig, Germany. A novelist, playwright, essayist, graphic artist, and poet, he was the author of many acclaimed books. In 1999 he was awarded the Nobel Prize for Literature. He lived in Lubeck, Germany. Rudnicki, Stefan: -Stefan Rudnicki first became involved with audiobooks in 1994. Now a Grammy-winning audiobook producer, he has worked on more than three thousand audiobooks as a narrator, writer, producer, or director. He has narrated more than three hundred audiobooks. A recipient of multiple AudioFile Earphones Awards, he was presented the coveted Audie Award for solo narration in 2005, 2007, and 2014 and was named one of AudioFile's Golden Voices in 2012. Winston, Krishna: -Krishna Winston has been a professor of German language and literature at Wesleyan University for over thirty years. She is the recipient of the Kurt and Helen Wolff Prize and the Schlegel-Tieck Prize for translation. |
