| Publisher Description: This work tells the story of Sam Logan, a snake-bitten teen who has a singular, self-destructive passion for the game of basketball. Both of Sam's parents have passed away, and as a high school senior he now faces the most critical point in his life without a familial structure to lean on. Lacking any true parental voice of reason, he has developed hatred for a bureaucratic adult world that he feels has screwed him.
