As the former governor of Massachusetts, Deval Patrick, once noted that being stopped by the police is, "Every Black man nightmare." This poem takes one through the journey of the Black Americans in this country and end with a view of hope. This poem will touch you and leave you with an expectation that there will be a better day that is up to us. |
