Contributor Bio(s): Pickett, Dwayne W.: - Dwayne Pickett is a professional archaeologist and has a master's degree in anthropology from the College of William & Mary, with a concentration in historical archaeology. He has been conducting historical research as well as excavations for more than twenty-five years. He has authored or coauthored numerous reports and articles and is also the coauthor of The European Struggle to Settle North America: Colonizing Attempts by England, France and Spain, 1521-1608. In 2007, he cofounded Pickett Educational Resources LLC, which specializes in educational products and services that help bring history alive. |
