Her nonfiction book Zombies was a San Diego Book Award finalist. When she is not writing, Cindy teaches science and gardening to children. She lives in California with her family of one husband, two children, two hermit crabs, one snake, one guinea pig, nine fish, and one preying mantis. She loves to hike and swim long distances in the ocean, where she often sees seals, rays, dolphins and sharks. |
