Publisher Description: Sex, Lies, and Christian Women is the culmination of my writings on the subject of sexuality and the related topics. Most of these writings came after some hard-fought battles to discover what was "normal' after experiencing childhood sexual abuse at the tender age of only 4 and my later marriage to an abusive husband whose initial ideas of sexuality groomed from the pages of pornography didn't exactly fit the Christian model I had in mind. The lies I was told, both unspoken and spoken, during these experiences, kept me in sexual bondage for years. Sex is a joyous blessing of God when used in the right ways (be fruitful and multiply), but is the curse of womankind when it is not (objectification). I want women to feel joy when they have sex with their spouses and not feel guilt and shame as I did for many years. Have sex and have fun, but be careful God bless to all. |
