Publisher Description:
This play has six characters. There are three females: Sina, Pasta and Mary; three males: Kip, Ole and Lemiso. Ole's wife is Sina and they have a son called Kip whose friend is Lemiso. Pasta is a lady who has a church next to Ole's compound while Mary is a white old lady who falls in love with Kip.

The scenes are in the church, in the compound of Ole, in the bus, in the grazing field and lastly in a marathon venue. The play touches many things that happen in church, challenges of herding, family quarrels at home and infatuation in boys as well as alcoholism in the society. It also includes challenges of studying at university and finding work.

This play is unique because it has some true story as well as fiction which cannot have been captured by another person.

The play has unique twists and turns.

About the Author

The author attended Kapsundei Primary school, Uasin Gishu Secondary and joined Moi University for both Bachelors and Masters Courses. Kiptum has taught at the University of Rwanda where he served as the head of Building and Construction Technology. In Kenya he worked as Town Engineer at the then Town Council of Litein and private firms before joining University of Eldoret as a lecturer in 2015. He has published several scholarly articles on engineering and education topics. One of his publications is on the use of AquaCrop model in simulating yields of cabbages in Keiyo Highlands.
