Contributor Bio(s): Spurgeon, C. H.: -

C. H. Spurgeon (1834-1892) served for thirty years as preacher and pastor of London's six-thousand-seat Metropolitan Tabernacle, which his growing congregation opened in 1861. His writings, including thousands of sermons, are still popular with pastors and devotional readers.

Mackintosh, C. H.: -

C. H. Mackintosh (1820-1896) was born in County Wicklow, Ireland, and is generally known as C. H. M., which is all that appeared on the title pages of his major writings. He was one of the major evangelists and brethren authors of the nineteenth century, and he was active in the Ulster revival of 1859. His writings are easily understood and were particularly influential among North American evangelicals. For a number of years, Mackintosh also edited a magazine called Things New & Old, which had a worldwide distribution and reputation.

McConachie, Dale: -

Dale McConachie has been in Christian radio for thirty-two years. He has also been active in providing radio play-by-play of professional baseball and basketball, including the Minnesota Twins radio network in 1993. He considers being able to record the Bible to be the most wonderful blessing of his vocational life. Audio Bibles voiced by Dale have been purchased in all fifty states and in many countries.

Glyn, Christopher: -

Christopher Glyn trained as a stage actor at the Rose Bruford School of Speech and Drama in the United Kingdom. After receiving Jesus, he forsook a career as a Shakespearean actor to devote his life to missionary work, with a personal calling to minister through radio. In the thirty-plus years since, Chris' inspirational radio shows have been heard on over two thousand radio stations on all seven continents. He has also narrated over one hundred motivational works on audio, which have been heard by millions worldwide. Chris' end-time Bible documentaries, Countdown to Armageddon and Beyond Armageddon, are considered classics in their genre and earned worldwide acclaim. In 2000 Chris set up a Christian audio production company called RadioActive Productions in Uganda, where he hosts a nightly gospel radio show. He also produces syndicated Christian radio shows and audio inspirations for audiences worldwide.
