Publisher Description:
This Book 24 is released as part of a series of separately titled books on the CORNERSTONE teachings of the Lord Jesus Christ concerning the gospel of salvation and the kingdom of the God. Other books published as part of the CORNERSTONE teachings of the Lord Jesus Christ are Book numbers 2, 3, 5, 7, 9, 10 and 11. All the teachings of the Lord Jesus Christ concerning the gospel of salvation clearly reveal that all mankind are under condemnation and that salvation is the saving of the souls of mankind from everlasting condemnation in fire to give mankind everlasting life. This means those mankind who are saved are saved by the grace of the God. But the true gospel as taught by the Lord Jesus Christ is that all mankind were/are evil or unrighteous and that will surely result in their condemnation. To save those mankind the God called/calls/will call to salvation, Jesus Christ was sent to pay for the penalty of their sins and the Lord also took away the sin from them and will lead them by His Spirit to fulfil all righteousness or to fully keep and obey all the truth, which is all the word of the God in order that they may become righteous - the only qualification to receive everlasting life. And that means those mankind called to salvation must do works to fulfil the law or must do the will of the God or must do good works in order to be declared righteous to receive everlasting life. And the Lord Jesus Christ is the One who will lead them by His Spirit to perfect the work of the God in order that they may receive everlasting life. The teachings of the Lord Jesus Christ are the CORNERSTONE while the teachings of the apostles and prophets are the FOUNDATION (Ephesians 2:20). This means the teachings of the aspostles and prophets must be based upon the clear teachings of the Lord Jesus Christ. If the teachings of the apostles and prophets are interpreted to be contrary or contradict the teachings of the Lord Jesus Christ, then such interpretations are WRONG AND INCORRECT. For example the Lord Jesus Christ clearly taught that even though the heaven and the earth may pass away, not the least particle of the law can pass away, all must be fulfilled or it cannot fail to take effect. Therefore, if anyone interpreted that Paul taught that salvation did not include the fulfillment of the law or that the law has been done away in the gospel of salvation, such a teaching would certainly contradict the clear teaching of the Lord Jesus Christ and must be a FALSE GOSPEL. The means the popular gospel that was/is being preached by many "Christian sects" that salvation is by grace alone and by faith alone and not by works is in opposition to the clear CORNERSTONE teaching of the Lord Jesus Christ and must be REJECTED AS A FALSE GOSPEL OF SALVATION that will bring condemnation to whoever who believes. Salvation as taught by the Lord Jesus Christ is certainly by grace of the God and is received through the faith. Through the faith means through the gospel which requires evil mankind to be transformed into good and righteous mankind and that must be shown in good works of those mankind who are being made righteous(Matthew 12:33) for them to receive everlasting life. Jesus Christ is also the grace of the God(Titus 2:11; Hebrews 2:9) and He is also the faith (Galatians 2:23-25). The gospel is also the faith (Galatians 1:23). Therefore Ephesians 2:8, "The grace is the reason you are saved through the faith, ..." means it is because of Jesus Christ you are saved through Jesus Christ or through the gospel. The clear and specific details of Ephesians 2:8-10 are taught by the Lord Jesus Christ in Matthew 7:13-14; John 6:44-45; John 10:7-9; John 14:6 and John 10:27-28. Those who are called to salvation must enter through Jesus Christ (narrow gate) and must embark on a constricted road(Jesus is also the constricted road) leading to the way of righteousness to find everlasting life shown in good and righteous works.
