It is not long before they are running for their lives and facing the devastating loss of their parents. A chance meeting with brother and sister, Matt and Hannah has far reaching implications not only for them but for a beleaguered people on the brink of destruction. A bond of friendship is formed between the four children that can never be broken. Together they battle a creature from your worst nightmare, make a strange new friend and then travel to another Realm, named Artica. In this strange land of ice they discover that they were actually born there and that Tom is the Crown Prince, orphaned soon after his birth. King Edward, Tom's Grandfather hid him in the Earth World to save his life and to try and ensure the survival of his Kingdom and its' People. Learning that there are different World's connected by Pathways, the children must adjust their way of thinking to include the concept of many dimensions that have evolved differently since time began. Travelling through the Earth World with friends from Artica they have to contend with all the dangers of modern life whilst trying to locate a lost Pathway to a World named Paragon as they launch a desperate attempt to rescue a Princess. Woven into all their scary and exciting adventures, there is a shadowy figure, of a very powerful woman (Marra now revered as an Angel) who lived and died some six hundred years before Tom's birth. Somehow she was able to see the future and has left clues to enable the Kingdom to be reborn and for Tom to fulfill his Destiny as a great King. To do this he must reclaim all the lands of Artica from Emperor Lorcan and free all the peoples to live free and happy lives. Through all their struggles and hardships they must always adhere to the Knight's code or Truth, Honour and Justice. Keira and Tom make new friends and get reaquainted with the land of their birth before finding themselves involved in a titanic struggle to save the Kingdom. The children's return to Artica with Matt and Hannah sets in motion a train of events which could lead to the death of everyone and the end of Marra's vision before it can really begin.
