Publisher Description: In the 1930s huge dust storms swept through the Great Plains. Farmers lost their crops. Businesses closed. Hundreds of people moved West for the chance of a fresh start. Hear the words they spoke. Read the words they read. And see the differing points of view about the Dust Bowl through the eyes of the people who lived it. |
