Author Fred A Brede has a personal inters in this story because Perry Wilcox was his grandfather. Some of the property Perry owned remains in his family today and is enjoyed by his children and grandchildren. Many of the accounts came from the stories passed down in oral and written form that helped formed the author's childhood. |
