Publisher Description:
TEXAS FLOOD: Two young brothers are orphaned during a flood. One boy is adopted and grows up to be a cattle rancher. The other one becomes a dangerous outlaw hired to kill him. Synopsis: ALAN GRISSOM rescues nine year old BERT BELL during a raging flood on the Brazos river. Almost dead from drowning the young boy recovers slowly but can't remember his name or where he came from. He is raised as Alan Grissom's son on the Bar 'G' cattle ranch. Ten years later a greedy neighbor JACK JANSON, hires famous gunfighter Buck Bell to settle a dispute over water rights. When he arrives to threaten Alan Grissom at the ranch, he feels an unknown kinship with Bert but doesn't know why. Once Buck is told of his employer's plan to reroute the river to keep the Bar 'G' cattle from having fresh drinking water, he is forced into a showdown with crooked ranch hands on the Janson spread. Buck Bell defends the Grissom ranch by showing his expertise with a shooting iron. He soon discovers that Bert may be his long lost brother who is equally skilled with fists and a six gun.
