Publisher Description: Hunt and his men travel to Arizona to stop a gang of Mexican bandits that are robbing and murdering ranchers, and herding their cattle across the Rio Grande to supply food for the Mexican Revolutionary Militia. After Hunt, and his brother-in-law Clover, are both wounded they are saved by the U.S. Cavalry. Hunt and his men return to Denver and finds that a crazed man that has traveled to Denver to kill Hunt, his wife, and children. With Hunt and Clover recovering from wounds, it is up to the U.S. Deputy Marshals to find the insane man before he kills Hunt and his family. The U.S. Deputy Marshals are sent on numerous missions to track down bank robbers, murderers, road killers, gunmen, rescue a 12-year-old girl suffering from amnesia, and forced to deal with a giant of a man that stands 7' 2" tall and weighs over 400 pounds. Earl recruits a new man for the U.S. Marshal Service, but Hunt questions the man's disposition, even though the man is exceptionally good with a gun, and is a very sturdy, intelligent, young man. |
