Publisher Description:
There's nothing or no one more appropriate to put on the cover of this recipe book than a picture of my youngest son. He's been fishing practically as long as hes been walking. Being an avid fisherman, he a fishing guide on Grand Lake for years He comes by his love of fishing quite honestly as my mother taught me to fish when I was young and. I was taking him pond fishing when he was still in a stroller. With most of these recipes, a memory from the past flashed into my mind while I was typing it. The bringing forth of this book has served as a wonderful memory trip for me. While sorting through them I found myself thinking ... "This is a wonderful halibut recipe from a Fourth of July picnic in Homer, Alaska. And, a cerviche recipe from a political function in Homer, Alaska. These are only a couple of the thoughts. It seems like each one has had it's own little memory. At times reminiscing took more time than inputting. Just where does a person draw a line on contents of a recipe book? I don't know, because I haven't been able to do that. So on the pages of this book are recipes for some of the best seafood and fish recipes I've ever tasted ... from some of the best cooks I know.
