| Publisher Description: The U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) is investing $2.7 million in the development of a new climate change program in West Africa. This program will be based on a synthesis of vulnerability assessments and climate change research conducted in West Africa to identify areas that are particularly vulnerable to climate change and have the greatest potential to reduce greenhouse gas emissions from land-use change.
